Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with SpreadEvent. This policy explains how our free trial, cancellation, and refund process works.
1. 14-Day Free Trial
Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. A valid payment method is required to start the trial, but you will not be charged during the trial period.
If you cancel before the trial ends, you will never be charged. No questions asked.
2. Subscription Plans
After your free trial, SpreadEvent is available at:
- Monthly: $29/month, billed monthly
- Yearly: $23/month, billed annually at $276/year (save 21%)
Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.
3. Billing & Paddle
All billing, invoicing, and payment processing is handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle manages VAT/sales tax collection, payment processing, and refund disbursements on our behalf.
Your credit card statement will show a charge from Paddle, not SpreadEvent directly.
4. Refund Eligibility
Within 14 Days of First Paid Charge
If you are unhappy with SpreadEvent within the first 14 days after your first paid subscription charge, you can request a full refund. We will process this promptly through Paddle.
After 14 Days of Paid Period
After 14 days into a paid billing period, we do not offer refunds for that period. However, you can cancel at any time to prevent your next renewal charge. You will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
Annual Subscriptions
For annual plans, the same 14-day refund window applies from the date of each annual charge. After 14 days, you can cancel to prevent the next annual renewal, but no partial refund will be issued for the remaining months.
5. How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time by:
- Going to your account settings at app.spreadevent.com and clicking "Cancel subscription"
- Emailing us at hello@spreadevent.com
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, you can:
- Email us at hello@spreadevent.com with your account email and reason for the refund
- Contact Paddle directly through the receipt email you received
We aim to process all refund requests within 5 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take an additional 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.
7. Exceptions
In exceptional circumstances (e.g. extended service outages, billing errors), we may offer refunds outside the standard policy at our discretion. If you believe you have a special case, please reach out to us.
